Prndant Sun

The sun is deified in the cultures of almost all peoples, with sun signs appearing in the Paleolithic. The image of the Sun on Bulgarian lands is present in Thracian sanctuaries as well as in Proto-Bulgarian settlements. 21% of the pro-Bulgarian runes discovered so far are solar signs.

The sun symbolizes life and vital energy, as well as the male onset. Sunshine decoration is believed to bring abundance and success.

The pendant is handmade from a metal sleeve (tsam) with a silver plated surface, and the string is a coated textile.
